A post on fashion after aeons! I was never confident about wearing a crop top, still, I have around 6 crop tops with me. I wore all the 6 crop tops at some point of time and thought of collating all of it together here.
This post is not a style cheat or about tips on how to wear a crop top if you are tall. I am still not that confident about wearing a crop top to giveaway tips. This post is just to give an idea of how a crop top looks on a tall person and different ways to style it. Having said that, I want to share a few things I follow while wearing a crop top.
- I always wear a slip inside so that I am not that conscious about skin peeping around the waist area.
- I go for a bottom wear which can be worn on the high waist like palazzo pants or skirts.
- Once in a while I let go of the ‘oops my tummy is visible’ feeling and enjoy wearing a crop top
Here are the looks and if you are a regular follower of my blog, you might have already seen these before 🙂
Both these crop tops are from Bewakoof. The blue palazzo pants are of high waist that you can’t really see the black slip inside. But, the black one is a normal palazzo pant that you can see the black slip when I raised my hands. Full post – Styling crop tops from Bewakoof
I am wearing the same palazzo pants here but the crop top is little longer than the bewakoof ones that the slip is not visible here. Full post – Flared palazzo pants with crop top
I got these 3 crop tops from Westside during a sale and I totally love them. The best thing about ethnic crop tops is, you can wear them as blouses for sarees. Play the video below to check it out.
And here is the last look I have styled recently,
This crop is from Westside as well but I bought this from a thrift shop.
One more style I want to try is, a crop top with high-waist jeans. Will do a separate post if I get my hands on high-waist jeans.
As you can see, I have mix and matched with only 2 palazzo pants for 5 looks. Many fashion bloggers are moving towards sustainable fashion and I wanted to incorporate the same. Always think twice before buying a piece of cloth, try maximum to mix & match and make the right fashion choice.
