Monsoon… smell of rain, everything green,a cup of tea and something crunchy to munch, getting all cozy on bed, watching your favorite movie/series or a good book to read. Monsoon is all about such small happiness isn’t it?

But can we stay indoor forever? The gloomy climate can make you lazy but a little experiment with the way your dress can easily lift up your mood and you won’t hesitate to step outside and flaunt it.

Dressing up for monsoon is all about choosing the right dress and accessories. For me, the dress and accessories should be simple yet bright. I was digging limeroad.com and found out monsoon friendly yet super unique outfit ideas 🙂

This Asymmetrical cotton lace skirt was love at first sight. The length of the skirt is a plus point to save myself from the pools of water on the streets. The bright color and the asymmetrical touch makes it a style statement.

As soon as I saw this skirt, I decided that I will style this with a green top. There was so much detailing on the skirt so I selected a simple green top. I loved the sleeves of this ruched sleeved green georgette top. The full sleeves can protect me from the cold winds.

For a extra protection, I would like to add an orange scarf contrasting the green top. They can come in handy to protect my hair from the rains too 🙂 I chose a simple orange viscose scarf

I would like to keep the accessories simple yet trendy. How cute are these orange earrings?

I would like to go bare neck as I will be wearing a scarf.

Doesn’t this orange beaded bracelet goes well with the outfit?

To break the monotonous girly look, I would like to wear a sporty kind of watch

Monsoon is all about carrying a quirky canvas bag. Don’t you agree?

This combination of orange and green flipflops is just perfect to complete the entire outfit.
