Today’s post is Ansolar Sunscreen Spf 30 review.
Summer is here. Most of you must be searching for the sunscreen you bought for last summer and checking the expiry date. I was like that a few years back until I realized the importance of wearing sunscreen every single day.
We often skip sunscreen if it’s cloudy outside or if we stay indoors whole day. Even when it’s cloudy, the effect of sun on your skin can be same as when it is sunny. Even if you stay home the entire day, there is a constant heat radiation from your mobile, laptop, tv and from gas stove while cooking. Therefore, in a tropical country like India, it is better to use sunscreen on a daily basis to avoid damages such as, age spots, pigmentation, wrinkles etc.
I have been using sunscreen religiously for the past 2-3 years until my acne condition got severe. I used to just apply the topical cream prescribed for my acne and nothing else. Then my dermatologist prescribed the Ansolar Sunscreen Spf 30 and I totally love using it.

I have used almost all commercially available sunscreens from brands such as Lakme, Lotus, Neutrogena etc. But when you are going through some skin condition, I would suggest to consult a dermatologist and get a prescribed sunscreen. Ansolar Sunscreen Spf 30 didn’t react bad on my acne affected skin which makes this sunscreen a must have for acne prone skin.
The texture of the sunscreen is almost like a makeup primer, buttery soft. As it is a gel based cream, it is easy to apply and get absorbs immediately. It gives a very light sheen and no white cast. If you don’t apply makeup on a regular basis, you can apply a compact powder on the top of this sunscreen and you are good to go.
Even extremely oily skin can get dry patches on face every now and then. Especially after taking bath or after washing the face. Ansolar Sunscreen can work on those dry patches as well so there is no requirement to apply moisturizer separately.
Though I am emphasizing usage of this sunscreen on oily, acne prone skin, it does not mean dry skin people should not use this. It could act like a primer under foundation for day wear for dry skin people. As it has little moisturizing property, dry skin people might need something extra to restore moisture on the skin.
Ansolar Sunscreen Spf 30 is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and very water resistant. It is one of the best sunscreens to use while swimming. As the spf value is only 30, you have to reapply it every 2 hours if you are under continuous sun exposure. Nevertheless, it is one of the best sunscreens I have used so far.
If you are looking to buy a new sunscreen or not satisfied with your current sunscreen, give Ansolar Sunscreen Spf 30 a try.
